  • Successfully completed a one-week refresher course in Electro-Chemical Pollution Control & Monitoring organized by Pollution Control Division, C.E.C.R.I., Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu

Experiences

  As a member of a CSIR-CLRI team, successfully completed a survey of Kolkata tanneries for bringing out an all India directory of tanneries. In this survey, a huge volume of data and information was collected from Kolkata tanneries on their current activities and S&T needs. It is believed that the all India directory of tanneries, which will be brought out on the basis of the data collected in the above survey will improve the connectivity of Indian leather industry significantly.

Extracurricular/Societal Activities

 
  • Participated in the 2-day National Science Seminar on The Commitment of Science to the Present Day World held at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (Bihar). A group under the banner Science for Society organized the seminar.
  • Attended a 3-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Regional Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (Bihar).
  • Attended a 10-day long Combined Annual Training Camp SD/JD-18 Boys at N.C.C Bhawan, Patna, Bihar.
  • Represented the school as a member of its Junior Football Team in 1985-86 D.A.V Centenary Year regional sports tournament and our team emerged the winner in the tournament
  • Represented the school as a member of its Junior Football Team in 1984 All India Mahatma Hansraj Arya Sports Tournament, and our team emerged the winner in the tournament.
  • Represented the District of Ranchi in 1981 First Bihar Small Athletes Tournament held at Muzaffarpur, Bihar
