RCED Kolkata is one of the four extension centres of CLRI. It was estabilished in 1961 to benefit the Leather and Leather products industries in Eastern region. The centre is fully equipped with Chemical, Physical & Eco testing Laboratory. This centre has a pilot Tannery which provides varied services to the industry.
