Regular Members :
 
CLRI staff, Research Fellows, Project Associates and Assistants. All the facilities and services of the library such as borrowing privileges including interlibraryloan, Internet access, access to e-journals etc are extended to them.
Student members :
 
B.Tech/M.Tech students (Leather Technology) and M.Tech Students (Footwear) of Anna University. Except interlibraryloan for B.Tech students all the facilities and services are extended to them.
Corporate Members :
 
Corporate establishments can become members on payment of an annual membership fee. Borrowing privileges is restricted to certain categories of corporate members.
Non-Members :
 
Non-members are permitted to use the library for reference only. The Director, CLRI reserves the right to restrict use.
  Categories permitted:
  Faculty of universities, colleges and other academic and research institutions.
MALIBNET card holders.
  Users authorised by the Director.
  Users introduced by staff of CLRI.
 

Pass Holders: M.Phil and PhD students of colleges and universities are provided with library passes for a period not extending 6 months against a letter addressed to the Director, CLRI from the competent authority such as the Principal or the Head of the Department.

Pass holders are permitted to use the library on

Tuesdays 2 p.m. to 5 p.m
Wednesdays
Thursdays
Saturdays 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
 

Non-members are requested to show their ID cards/ Library pass/ MALIBNET cards/ Letters of authorization at the Circulation Desk while entering the library.
