Biotech Product and Process Development and Commercialisation Award 2005

A Team-CLRI comprising of Dr J Raghava Rao, Dr P Thanikaivelan, Mr S Saravanabhavan, Mr S Ramalingam and Dr Balachandran Unni Nair have been involved in the development of a new millennium bio-driven leather process. The Team-CLRI has revolutionized leather-processing methodology for cleaner leather production.

The Biotech Product and Process Development and Commercialisation Award 2005 has been conferred on the Team from Central Leather Research Institute for developing this biobased leather processing alternative, which has paved way for clean and green leather processing.
