The BM Das Memorial Lecture is held annually during LERIG to honour the first Director of CLRI, Rai
Bahadur Prof Biraj Mohan Das.
Starting with Prof BC Guha in 1963, who spoke on protein synthesis, forty three eminent personnel
have delivered this lecture on various topics relating to LEATHER.
